Anestis Christoforidis
He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering Department of Polytechnic School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1979-1985). During the period 1986-1992 he worked as a Research Fellow with Scholarship by the Greek State Foundation at Process Equipment Design Laboratory of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His work was mainly related to the Thermal Performance of Buildings and to Active Thermal Solar Systems. He taught for four semesters exercises of “Cooling, Air-Conditioning” course in the 8th semester ‘s students of the Department.
Since 1986 he has been working as a professional designer of MEP installations. He has many years of experience in the field of designing MEP and RES installations. He has been involved in a variety of activities including research, engineering and management and has experience in project management and team leadership in a number of European and National projects. He is registered professional engineer for MEP and Energy studies in projects of Public Sector. He is qualified Energy Certification Assessor permanently registered in Greek Registry for Energy Inspectors (2011), Energy Auditors (2017).
He has been designated as an Assessor for Energy (ISO 50001), Environmental (ISO 14001) and Health & Safety (OHSAS 18001) management systems by the National Accreditation Body of Greece (ESYD). He is an independent expert for the evaluation process of proposals and ongoing European projects for many years. He is a lecturer in seminars, workshops and training courses for engineers. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and member of ASHRAE.
